Tell us about your fitness career so far…
After leaving school I knew I wanted to do a job that was fun, not a 9-5, and would allow me to meet loads of people while being active. I left college in 2008. This led me to starting out as a Fitness Instructor. I continued to become a Les Mills Instructor and then Presenter.
What do you love about teaching fitness?
I love helping people and being a part of my members’ journeys - from when they started going to classes to how fit they are now. Sharing the same passion for fitness with groups of people who enjoy it, and have fun, is an awesome feeling. When you all come together it creates a sparkle in the room.
What made you become a les Mills Instructor?
I was put on the BODYATTACK™ module by my club and thought; why not give it a go? What I didn't realize before is that weekend would change my life. After that weekend I went on to do BODYPUMP™, RPM™ and LES MILLS SPRINT™.
If you weren’t a fitness Instructor, you would be…
If I wasn't in fitness I would be an air hostess or a job abroad (I love chatting to people lol).
Tell us something people don’t know about you.
I can tap dance.
What’s your ideal day off?
Laying on a beach with the sun shining, enjoying food and a cheeky cocktail with the people I love.
What do you do when you’re not doing all things Les Mills?
Outside Les Mills I enjoy going out for meals, going to the cinema, and being around good company. I'm a simple girl really and love food (haha)! I also work as a group exercise manager at Nuffield health.
What’s the highlight of your career so far?
My highlight was being invited to the Presenter Bootcamp and being taken on as an RPM Rookie Presenter in 2016. I am so grateful and love to be able to share my fitness experiences with so many other people who share the same passion for fitness and all things Les Mills.
