Where can I try LES MILLS PILATES? 

Live LES MILLS PILATES workouts are now rolling out in fitness clubs around the globe. LES MILLS PILATES will be coming to the LES MILLS+ app in the near future. Watch this space.

What is the difference between LES MILLS PILATES, LES MILLS SHAPES and other workouts? 

LES MILLS PILATES is 45 minutes of slow, controlled Pilates movements, with a focus on breath and mobility.

LES MILLS SHAPES™ features elements of Pilates mixed with power yoga and barre. The focus is on external motivators like burn and pulses to target and strengthen specific muscles. This is different from LES MILLS PILATES, where the movements are purely Pilates, and the focus on your breath brings you into an internal space and fosters a mindset where you focus on mind/body awareness.

BODYBALANCE™ delivers a similar mind/body and core strengthening experience as LES MILLS PILATES. However, BODYBALANCE has a strong yoga skew and is more about flexibility, whereas LES MILLS PILATES is more about mobility and abdominal intensity.

LES MILLS CORE™ is all about building core stability and it doesn't include the unique breath or mobility focus you get during LES MILLS PILATES.

How fit and strong do I need to be? 

LES MILLS PILATES is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. Each workout is packed with options so you can train at an intensity that works for you. Your Instructor will guide you to move to the beat, or at your own pace, slowing down and stopping as you need.

How often should I do LES MILLS PILATES? 

LES MILLS PILATES is the type of workout you can enjoy as frequently as you wish. We recommend 2-3 times a week.

What other workouts should I do with LES MILLS PILATES?

LES MILLS PILATES is a great complement to strength training, High-Intensity Interval Training and any other cardio.

For the optimal training mix, we advocate a weekly routine that features core, mobility or flexibility sessions (like LES MILLS PILATES), strength training workouts, and cardio workouts (a mix of moderate and high intensity).

What do I need for a LES MILLS PILATES workout?  

All you need is comfortable workout clothes. Going barefoot (or wearing socks) is recommended. A mat is optional.
